At La Leche League of Jacksonville at Avondale in Duval County, Florida, we hold monthly meetings on a variety of breastfeeding topics and offer breastfeeding help over the phone to women in the Jacksonville, Florida area. All women interested in breastfeeding their babies are welcome to attend our La Leche League mother-to-mother support group meetings or call our La Leche League Leaders for breastfeeding help.

La Leche League (LLL) is an international, non-profit, non-sectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, mother-to-mother support and encouragement to all women who want to breastfeed.

Our volunteer Leaders at LLL of Jacksonville at Avondale are experienced mothers who have breastfed their own babies, are familiar with research and current findings dealing with all aspects of breastfeeding, and are accredited by La Leche League International (LLLI). Membership is not required to attend meetings; meetings and breastfeeding support are always free! However, membership supports our local Group and helps us to reach out to our community here in Jacksonville, FL. Your membership purchase of $25 also entitles you to full access to our great lending library and is tax-deductible. You can also pay for your LLL membership with a check at one of our Meetings.

Group Meetings for La Leche League of Jacksonville at Avondale are located at located at the corner of Edgewood and Herschel in the Riverside/Avondale area, 3519 Herschel Street, Jacksonville, FL, 32205 in the auditorium of Grace Church of Avondale. We meet at 10:00am on the 3rd Wednesday of the month.
